My Small Business 101 Series

Clarkson University has released its latest schedule for its My Small Business 101 Series.

My Small Business 101 is offered over four weeks (Monday evenings, in 2-hour sessions) and is provided at no cost.  Each session provides small business owners/operators with a crash course in one specific, critical business element, and at the end of each session, participants will be asked to apply the weekly concept to their business using toolsl provided.  Sessions will begin with a brief discussion of the challenges and successes of each application.

Availability of Training Funds

An allocation of $167,000 in Tribal-State Compact funds has been made available to reimburse local companies as they train new or incumbent employees. 

The program is designed to help offset company training costs as a new employee develops proficiency at his or her job during the initial stages of employment, or as an incumbent employee adapts to new processes and technologies.
